Melinda: What are some of the unique features about this hotel?

Jennifer: Inviting, classy, and located in the heart of the spectacular Rocky Mountains, this will be Whitefish, MT's newest hotel with a mountain-modern look and eclectic vibe influenced in part by Ralph Lauren designs, all the while respecting Whitefish's friendly, mountain heritage.

Melinda: Tell us a little about the team.

Jennifer: Headed by the Averill family who currently operate The Lodge at Whitefish Lake and are developing the project, we've teamed up with the architects and designers of Montana Creative lead by Aaron Wallace-AIA and Scott Elden. Rocky Mountain Builders, led by lead contractor Joe Hill, rounds out this team of creative and skilled professionals.

Melinda: What benefit will this hotel offer to the Whitefish community and downtown?

Jennifer: I believe that having a boutique-style hotel downtown will entice visitors to further explore downtown, visiting local establishments, businesses, and restaurants. Downtown Whitefish is home to a number of fine retail shops, art galleries, and restaurants for every type of diner, and this new hotel will only help to attract visitors to those businesses.

Whitefish is a growing mountain community, and this project will help meet the needs of both locals and tourists.

Melinda: What drew to this project?

Jennifer: I was thrilled at the opportunity to work with this outstanding team of developers, designers, and builders. This hotel project is something different for Whitefish, and I'm able to utilize my own skills and love for mountain-modern design.
